We had a great 3 days in Okotoks, Alberta. Wonderful hosts, Jerry & Billie & Bar Pipe Ranch, challenging, consistent sheep, and a beautiful field. We didn’t quite get the results I was hoping for but overall I was happy with the young dogs, Mitch & Tweed. Tweed managed a 4th & 5th in the Nursery trials and Mitch a 1st one day in Pro Novice. Spot was not behaving well, so I ran Mitch in Spot’s Open run on the final day. I was thrilled with Mitch in Open and we completed the course with a decent single and pen and hit all the panels. There were a few bobbles, thus the lower score, but I am loving this dog’s attitude!
